My Backstory – How It All Started

How did I let it get to this…

So todays’ story is about where I’ve come from.

Grab a snack, have a drink, its only short but I think it’s important for me to tell you a little about myself.

In the beginning it seemed like a regular Tuesday morning, in fact it was eerily peaceful…

As the sun rose from the horizon welcoming all to this new day there wasn’t a cloud to be seen.

The blinds were angularly drawn revealing a seemingly fairy-tale themed blue sky and an alluring beam of the suns radiant glow.

A beautiful girl lying next to me, still had my great hair and killer smile seemed intact ;).

But something was up…

Something was definitely a miss…

I couldn’t move… I was debilitated… Being choke held from some unknown force.

I quickly checked for Jedi or Darth Vader… Nothing…

Was this me?..

What is this feeling…

Pain, regret, fear, weakness, shame, guilt remorse, sorrow, torment, hardship, despair, hopelessness, I don’t know?.. I was hurting!

Why why…

Why is this happening?

Why all this misery for no reason?

Or maybe there is a reason…

What did I have to do today?

Go to work? My Job?

That’s all I had to do?

Could it be simply the thought of going to work be arousing these types of feelings and reaction?

Turns out it was!

My Job…

I felt sick, my body started to ache trying to justify reasons not to go to work… the office… the cubicle… hell!

It’s a sorry place when the highlight of your day is greeting the doorman when you arrive and the appreciative friendly wave and wink when you leave.

The emotional exhaustion knowing once your shift starts, you and everyone around you turn into robotic slaves doing only what you have been programmed and trained

to do.

Back to Tuesday morning, I know I had no valid reason, but there’s no way I was going to work that day.

I took a few minutes to recall my drama classes in school and finally made the “sick” call.

With the weight lifted off my shoulders I needed to investigate.

This can’t have just happened overnight there must have been a build up…

How did I let it get to this point?

When did I lose control?

I remember getting this job… I choose this!

This was my goal.

I wanted to be earning xxxx income.

I wanted to work in xxxx industry.

I had made it.

I thought this was success?

Surely not! This can’t be…

F**k No!

This has to change!

I sourced two quotes, stuck them in front of me and got to work!

“What got you here won’t get you there”

“Nothing will change unless you make it change”

The first step…

I just put myself in the position to be motivated and started taking action.

I became the opportunity seeker and action taker.

Reaching out to people doing exactly what I wanted to do.

Studying and modeling their success and lifestyle patterns then formulated a plan of attack…

My Light bulb Moment – Online Real Estate

I’m going to introduce you to my light bulb moment.

There is no greater feeling than making your first dollar online.

Now there are hundreds of ways to make money online however the strategy that I was most attracted to and resonated with was Affiliate marketing.

Specifically passive income, membership and recurring income opportunities – Developing online real estate.

What I realised was that there are specific actions you can take to launch and set up online campaigns and earn income for life.

Now I am by no means an expert, but I would like to show you an example of what I’m talking about

This campaign was successful because of two simple reasons

1. I was open and looking for opportunities
2. I took action

When cryptocurrency was all the rave and taking off in late 2017, I saw opportunity and took advantage of a growing expanding market and timing.

I managed this without actually investing my limited money in the incredibly volatile coin market.

You have heard of the analogy that in the early gold rush era the people who made more consistent money were the merchants selling picks and shovels to the aspiring hungry miners.

I took a very similar approach targeting new traders interested in learning more about buying and selling cryptocurrency in Australia. Introducing them to a popular Australian exchange with an Affiliate program where I would be compensated a percentage of trading fees generated. Simple right 🙂

Zero inventory, No Product of my own, No Authority or experience in the market…

Just an Idea and a mindset of taking action.

My First Successful Passive Income Campaign

Campaign overview – Affiliates = People introduced to the company.

How I did this…

From idea in November 2017 to launch took about one month, working a few hrs per day after work and on weekends. (I did and still work full time for an insurance company)

I was able to write and publish a one-page review website of a leading exchange in Australia. Write and attach a simple 5 email follow up sequence and ran some ads on google ads to generate leads.

I had zero experience with ads and was extremely lucky in terms of timing as all cryptocurrency ads were banned on all platforms on January 2018.

This total campaign cost me around $300 to set up and advertise before having to turn off my ads in January 2018.

I have not touched it since December 2017 – It has paid me monthly for nearly 4 years.

Now obviously this is not life changing money, nor will every campaign work out perfectly or profit.

Luck and timing will have it’s place and you will have failing campaigns. I certainly have!

The thing to remember is not give up and it is 100% possible. Affiliate marketing is a duplicate able skill set you can develop and create multiple streams of passive income.

Dream Big – Start Small – Act Now – Daily Progress

There will be a moment when it all starts to fall into place.

P.S You must start somewhere. It isn’t going to change overnight, but the process will be life changing. I’m now working with numerous partners, mentors, companies and opportunities, and well on my way to replacing my full-time salary from passive income, investment, and business opportunities.

Some earn 1-$100 / per month – Some 100 – $1000 per month and Some earn 1000+ per month.
